Raymondville ISD currently has 41 students enrolled in a pathway to Registered Nursing. Students are getting hands on experience and earning college credits toward their degree. 

 The Texas Workforce Commission lists the occupation of nursing as one of the most in demand professions in the state with an average median salary of more than $76,000 a year.

It’s estimated that 15,000 new nursing jobs will be available in the next ten years.

 A grant our district was awarded allowed Raymondville High School to become one of the first schools in the Rio Grande Valley to have virtual welders to train students.

Along with virtual welders, the new facility contains ten welding stations that can help students weld projects and eventually earn a welding or construction certificate. 

Students follow a pathway through our courses and will be eligible to get certified through the (AWS) American Welding Society and the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)

Earning a degree in criminal justice can help you get hired for many different job opportunities within the criminal justice field.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the 2017 median wage for probation officers was $51,410, with 6% job growth expected through 2026.

By earning a degree in a business-related area, you will find a range of careers that are directly related to your qualification. 

Areas of commerce, finance, accountancy, marketing, human resources and personal management are always in need of knowledgeable individuals
